About us
Local crew. Straight answers. Clean yards.
Slaughter Property Experts is a woman-owned lawn, landscape and tree company based in Navarre. We take care of yards across the Panhandle, and we do it the way we would want our own yard done.
Who we are
Navarre is home. These are our neighbors' yards.
We started Slaughter Property Experts to give Panhandle homeowners one local crew they can call for the whole yard: the weekly cut, a fresh bed of pine straw, and the pine that came down in the last storm.
We keep it simple. You call or text, we come look, you get a clear price, and we do the work and clean up. No runaround and no fine print.

Tarah and Mason.
Tarah Founder and Owner
A Florida native who puts family first and is always looking for ways to help the community. Tarah started Slaughter Property Experts to take care of the yards and neighbors right here at home.
Mason Co-Founder
A Cincinnati native with the same values: show up, do the job right, and treat every yard like it belongs to family.
How we work
What you can count on.
- A clear price before we startYou get a price after we see the job, not a surprise after we finish.
- We show up when we sayIf plans change, we call or text you before the day, not after.
- Cleaner than we found itClippings, limbs and debris are raked, loaded and hauled off. Drives and walks get blown off.
- Straight answersWe work from the ground and with equipment. If a job needs a climber or a crane, we tell you and point you to someone who does it.
When a storm hits
We were out after Hurricane Isaias.
When Isaias came through in October 2026, we were cutting up downed pines and clearing yards around Navarre. Storm season is part of living here, and cleanup is part of what we do.
